Now, let’s talk food, fun, and festival, delving a little deeper into what you can expect from this event. The Global Food Booths that will be discovered around the park will offer a glimpse of foods from all over the world, including Belgium, Germany, and although it isn’t its own country, Hawaii. Each booth serves up small plates, so you can dine your way across the world and not worry about being too full and each booth also offers the wines that complement the foods you are eating, ensuring a well rounded dining experience your stomach will adore.

Because you will want to try them all, the map and checklist can be downloaded from the EPCOT center website, leading you to deliciousness you won’t want to miss. Obviously the food booths are the star of the show, but guests can also find vendors selling food related merch, live entertainment, and although you could be adults who love Disney and are visiting without children, most guests bring their kids and as such, there are many food booths and activities geared towards the younger set. Every year is different, but in previous years they have offered activities that include Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt. Inspired by the movie that taught us not all rats are icky, and visitors who find Remy will win really cool prizes that will make unique souvenirs of your time in Orlando.
Celebrity Chefs, Grand Tasting Experiences, and So Much More
As you might expect, anything Disney will be over the top and the good times continue with Celebrity Chef meet and greets, tasting sessions, low cost events, premium events, and even interactive culinary adventures. Their Party for the Senses is a premium one held on a variety of dates throughout the festival and highly regarded by all who have attended in the past. There isn’t enough words in the English Dictionary to describe all that takes place during this three-month festival, just suffice it to say, you are going to have a yummy time if you plan on attending!
Time to Relax and Get Off Your Feet
The good news is that all the walking you do at EPCOT center will help counteract all the calories you ingest during your explorations of the International Food & Wine Festival, but the bad news is you will be doing a LOT of walking, and your dogs are going to be barking! Step into spaces that are normally filled with light (it will probably be dark out when you return at the end of your global food tour of EPCOT) and watch the magic unfold as you wander into each and every room. The living room may be where your feet stop you first, urging you to sink into that plush sofa, pick up the remote to the smart television, and lose yourself in the story that is unfolding on the screen. Feeling hungry? (Although after all that food you ate today, we don’t see how you could be again, unless you are a teenager!) The Weinkeller Store, a product of Germany, offers tastings and the opportunity to take your favorite bottles home, so why waste a perfectly good opportunity to try out the wine, simply because you feel that you should be responsible?
