The Vacation Home of Your Dreams
We love our homes, but let’s face it: There is always something that comes up lacking as you fight for room in the kitchen, stand outside with the hose in hand watering the grass until you can afford a sprinkler system, or even turn an extra bedroom into a closet, limiting the guests who can visit, simply so you have enough room for your clothes! In any case, the vacation home of your dreams has no negatives and will fit you, your family, and your friend like a glove as you frolic in the private pool, watch movies on the big screen, and sleep like a baby every night of your stay! But wait. What if you wait too long to book and someone else creeps in and steals the home that should rightfully be yours? Booking now will ensure that in just a few short months you will be strutting up to the front door of the vacation home of your dreams, inputting the key code, and taking over the premises with a smile that stays plastered to your face the duration of your vacation in paradise! Lose Yourself in Your Dreams
Your daily life is hectic, and for five days of every week you wake up early and drag yourself into work to face angry clients, bosses, and coworkers. You fight the traffic on the roads, driving with white knuckles under gray skies and in subzero temperatures, but for the few minutes you spend scrolling through the pictures on the Tropical Villas Orlando website, you find peace. You can actually feel the sun beating down on your shoulders as you sip mojitos while floating on the giant pink flamingo in the pool. You can picture yourself lifting your head to look up at the clock, checking out the numbers shining in the early morning light, and rolling back over to sleep for as long as you want. These moments of peace and relaxation will give you the opportunity to forget about responsibilities and lose yourself in the dreams of the perfect vacation brought to you by Tropical Villas Orlando. Give yourself the happy ending you deserve by booking one of our vacation rentals near Orlando, Florida for your summer getaway today!

Enjoy cigars that are included in the price of your ticket, (a separate cigar tent ensures that non-smokers will not have to endure the scent) complimentary valet parking when you purchase General Admission tickets, and with VIP tickets, private baths, separate seating areas, and specialty food are also included along with all of the above.
Hike in the Split Oak Forest
Named for a giant oak tree that survived a lightning strike that split it in half, the Split Oak Forest Wildlife and Environmental Area offers a breathtaking look at the natural beauty of the Florida landscape. Enjoy cooler temperatures as you hike along the 9+ miles of trails and paths that take you close to the wildlife, and as you spot beautiful flowers and the ethereal butterflies flitting from bloom to bloom, take a few minutes to just breathe. Your real life is so hectic, these quiet moments are bound to be memorable!
Orlando Brewing, 1301 Atlanta Avenue
Every season is the right season for a craft beer, and Orlando Brewing might just have a pumpkin porter that you will fall in love with! Also featuring their version of Oktoberfest, held September 18th, the event will be held outside to help guests celebrate safely as they eat German food, listen to live music, play games, and, of course, drink plenty of ice-cold German beer! Orlando Brewing always has an event going on, no matter what time of year you choose to visit, so if you miss out on Oktoberfest, purchase a couple of tasting tours and sip your way through the delicious maze of specialty brews.

From alligators to zebras (at Gatorland and the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens), your bucket list is guaranteed to be a long one, but what happens if it begins to rain? Does a rainy day automatically put an end to your fun? The answer is absolutely not! This guide to all the activities in Orlando you will be able to enjoy when the skies open up will ensure that every minute of your stay is destined to be memorable.
Gray Skies WILL Clear
Just as the song tells us, this rain will not last forever, and the heartiest of travelers understand the fun that can be had at the house the mouse built, especially in the rain! As long as there is no thunder and lightning, a rainy day spent at Disney World is the best way to fill those vacation hours; the worst of the crowds will be trying to find indoor activities and the lines will be short! Many of the rides take place under cover of a roof, keeping you dry, or you can grab a sit-down dinner at any of the restaurants in the park and wait for the sun to appear once again.
Oh, How the World Has Changed!
If you have spent any time at all on Instagram or TikTok, you know the value of a good background, and the Orlando Wall Crawl helps you do that! Located at 1016 W Church Suite Suite C and offering over 4500 square feet of air-conditioned coolness, this warehouse of backdrops can help you become the star of your favorite social networking site while you stay dry. Featuring a variety of colorful and unique backdrops, including Christmas, graduation, and glamour themes, the admission fee gives you an hour of unlimited photo opportunities!
How Sweet It Will Be
It’s true that you may be feeling a little blue when the skies are gray and gloomy, but the quickest way to a smile is through chocolate, and it is impossible to be sad when you visit the Chocolate Kingdom! Located at 9901 Hawaiian Court, this factory dedicated to the sweetest treat of all may not change your life, but it will definitely sweeten your disposition as you explore the museum, take the factory tour, and create your own custom chocolate bar. The rain may be soaking the grounds, the skies may be dark and gloomy, but you will be in your happy place surrounded by the most wonderful of aromas, the smell of chocolate in all its many forms!
A Fiery Example of History
This next activity is only available on Fridays and Saturdays, but families with little boys and girls will want to add a visit to the Orlando Fire Museum to their itinerary, even if the sun is shining brightly. Located at 814 E Rollins Street inside a brick firehouse built in the 1920s, the exhibits found here cover decades of firefighting history and include a variety of uniforms, equipment, historic fire trucks, and a fascinating glimpse into the bedrooms that are built into every station.
Fore!
No, we are not suggesting you head out in the rain for a game of golf; we are inviting you to enjoy 18 holes of colorful fun at the Putting Edge indoor miniature golf course! Black lights and neon colors make mini golf fun as you move from themed hole to themed hole, exploring the ocean, the jungles, and the mysteries of outer space with your kids and spouse. Located at 5250 International Drive and offering a cool respite from the dreary weather outside, spending a couple of hours here is fun on rainy and sunny days!
Photos with the Stars
Another popular activity in Orlando is Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, located at 8387 International Drive, where you can mingle with big-time celebrities that include Shrek, Taylor Swift, and our personal favorite, Jason Momoa as Aquaman. Take your turn in the hot seat as you are “interviewed” by Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show, pose at the big desk in the Oval Office, or help Superman hold up a helicopter, saving everyone who is inside! The options are limitless at Madame Tussauds, and the fun never ends!
At Home with Tropical Villas Orlando
Of course, there is no law that says you have to leave the premises of your Tropical Villas Orlando vacation escape! Staying in for the day has never been so fun as you sleep late, play games, and maybe, take a swim in the rain because you know you can’t get any more wet. Reserve your stay with us today!
Not all vacations are created equal, as you fulfill different needs in different cities. Perhaps you need a break from everything, and you are choosing a quiet country getaway, far away from the hustle and bustle in the world, or maybe you crave the buzz of the frenetic atmosphere of a big city. Maybe you are interested in doing it all: spending time with the kids at the amusement park, relaxing and finding peace by a private pool, and getting out to enjoy all the exciting adventures your vacation destination has to offer. When you want to have the option to do just about anything, Orlando is the place to be! As you live it up from the comfort of our Tropical Villas Orlando sanctuaries, this guide to the top tours you can experience in our favorite place on earth will ensure that you get the opportunity to do it all.
Ghost Tours of Orlando
Why not get your blood flowing right from the start with a chilling ghost tour offered by Orlando Haunts! We are not alone in the world, and the wonderful guides know the tragic underbelly of Orlando; they will take you to where the spirit world and our world collide! Learn the terrifying tales of pirate’s pillaging gone bad, the woeful stories of love gone wrong, and the truly sad narrative of those who lived alone, died alone, and are now just looking for some company as the centuries slowly pass by.
The Most Delicious Tours of All
Our favorite part of any vacation is getting a chance to taste the flavors of the region, and the best way to do so in Orlando is with a food tour offered by Wandering Palms! Savor your way through the Milk District neighborhood with a variety of tours, including the Neighborhood Eats tour, which will take guests to five local restaurants, and the Almond Milk District Vegan Tour that also visits five restaurants but is focused on the plant-based meals that are so yummy in this region. Finally, they also offer the Foodtography Mills 50; perfect for all you budding influencers who love posting all the pics of all the foods you have enjoyed over the years, this tour visits four different restaurants but includes tips and hints on how to take the best pictures of your meals! Book your most delicious tour here.
Make Up Your Own Tour
After all that food, you are probably feeling a little thirsty, so why not make up your own tour of the Orlando wine bars and sip your way fantastic through the night? Ride share services make this tour safe for all involved as you sip in and out of Wine Bar George, Vine’s Grille and Wine Bar, the Eola Wine Company, and a host of other wine bars in the area! At last count, we noted eight fantastic places to sip and savor, but that number is always changing! Although we cannot say that we have a favorite wine bar, we can tell you there is a soft spot in our hearts for the Wine Room on Park Avenue, located in nearby Winter Park, and offering over 150 handpicked wines for you to try. We do not recommend trying all 150 in one night, however, and if your goal is to try them all out, we suggest making more than a few trips!
The Bird’s Eye View Tour
Orlando is a beautiful city, but its size prevents visitors from really being able to enjoy all its charms unless you choose a helicopter tour offered by Air Force Fun! Flying you over all the spots you may want to visit personally, later on, the tour times range from a quick 4- to 5-minute tour that takes you over Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay to the monster flight tour that lasts 20 to 25 minutes! Otherwise known as tour number 6, this flight will give you a bird’ eye view of the best of Orlando, including SeaWorld, Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports, and Gatorland!
From the Sky to the Sea
Well, not exactly the sea, as Orlando is about an hour’s drive away from the beach, but the kayak tours offered by Get Up and Go Kayaking in nearby Winter Park. They offer daylight tours of the lakes in clear kayaks that allow you to see all that swims below, and nighttime tours that feature kayaks with color-changing LED lights to add an extra twinkle to your explorations! Also offering sunset tours that will take your breath away (Remember to keep hold of your paddle and don’t let it slip away in the excitement of the moment!), this tour company is one of the best in the region.
